As a patron of the arts, Westchester Community Foundation, through its grants-making, signals that the arts play a major role in the philanthropic landscape.  Whether directing one of their donor-advised funds or through one of their discretionary funds, the Foundation has been providing significant support for arts and culture projects which strengthen communities and improve the quality of life in the county.  Westchester Community Foundation has been distributing grants for more than thirty years, and in 2011 alone, they provided over $100,000 in grants to a total of seven cultural organizations. “The Westchester Community Foundation believes strongly that a vibrant cultural life is an essential part of every viable community.  The Foundation is committed to supporting, celebrating, and strengthening the nonprofit art and cultural organizations that are an integral part of Westchester’s image and economy.” For more information please visit
