Special Events volunteers assist at our major fundraising events, especially at the annual gala in November, attended by all the movers and shakers in Westchester! You can help as an auction assistant, raffle ticket seller, gift bag stuffer, and more. Arts Ambassadors are community volunteers who value the arts and understand the role the arts play in improving education, enriching lives, and building communities. Arts Ambassadors visit programs funded by ArtsWestchester, including arts-in-education residencies at schools and community sites, affiliate concerts and performances in order to provide important feedback. Gallery attendants and ushers. Our gallery attendants get to interact with visitors, provide insight about exhibitions, all while absorbing the creative work of world class art created by local, national and international artists. Ushers at our performing arts events greet patrons and share an up-close and personal musical, theatrical or performing art experience with attendees.
