COVID-19 Resources for Artists:

ArtsWestchester continues to closely monitor recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), New York State and the Federal government as developments evolve concerning the coronavirus. We care about the health and safety of our artists, arts organizations, members, staff and board in Westchester and for the entire country. We have collected a list of resources below for artists and arts groups and we will update this page as news and more relief resources become available.

Equal Sound Relief FundThe Equal Sound Corona Relief Fund was set up on short notice to provide direct financial assistance to musicians who have lost work as a result of Corona-related event cancellations. For FAQ and to apply click here.
Sweet Relief Relief FundSweet Relief is providing immediate assistance to musicians and music industry workers affected by the Coronavirus. Funds raised will go towards medical expenses, lodging, clothing, food and other vital living expenses to those impacted due to sickness or loss of work. To apply click here.
NYC Community Trust Response & Impact FundThe NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund was created to aid NYC-based nonprofits struggling with the health and economic effects of the coronavirus. It will be providing up to $75 M in grants and loans to NYC-based nonprofits that are trying to meet the new and urgent needs. To apply click here.
Local 802’s Emergency Arts Workers Relief FundLocal 802’s Emergency Relief Fund has been set up to aid those 802 members in the freelance community who have received notice that single engagements filed under a local union agreement have been cancelled. For information on how to apply, click here.
CERF+ Emergency Medical AssistanceCERF+ has established the COVID-19 Response Fund. CERF+ ‘s emergency relief grants will focus on those infected with the virus that require intensive medical care. To apply click here.
Arts Leaders of Color Emergency FundArts Leaders of Color Emergency Fund will support of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) artists and arts administrators who have been financially impacted due to COVID-19. To apply click here.
The Actors FundThe Actors Fund is a providing funding for emergency services to actors affected by the COVID-19 crisis. To find information on eligibility and to apply, click here.
AGMA Relief FundAny AGMA member in good standing is entitled and encouraged to apply for financial assistance through the AGMA Relief Fund. Grants are awarded based on need and AGAM are taking into account COVID-19 related issues. To apply click here.
MusiCares COVID 19 Relief FundThe Recording Academy® and its affiliated charitable foundation MusiCares® have established the COVID-19 Relief Fund to help those in the music community affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. To apply click here.
Queer Writers of Color Relief FundA GoFundMe campaign started to directly support at least 100 queer writers of color who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Priority will be given to queer trans women of color and queer disabled writers of color. To apply click here.
Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency GrantsThe Foundation for Contemporary Arts has created a temporary fund to meet the needs of artists who have been impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances and exhibitions. To apply click here.
Dramatist Guild Foundation Emergency GrantsThe Dramatist Guild Foundation provides emergency financial assistance to individual playwrights, composers, lyricists and book writers in dire need of funds due the effects of COVID-19. To apply click here.
Glad Day Lit Emergency Survival FundGlad Day Lit has set up an emergency fund to help LGBTQ2S artists, performers and tip-based workers pay for necessities curing the COVID-19 crisis. To apply click here.
SAG-AFTRA Members COVID-19 Disaster FundThe SAG-AFTRA Foundation has created the COVID-19 Disaster Fund that is now available to eligible SAG-AFTRA members who have been impacted by this pandemic. To apply click here.
MissedTour.orgA free listing website that aggregates the listings of bands that are being displaced from tours and festival gigs. The website also highlights merchandise sales to help offset the lost revenue associated with the cancelled COVID-19 shows. To register click here.
Jazz Foundation’s Musicians’ Emergency FundJazz Foundation’s Musicians’ Emergency Fund provides housing assistance, pro bono medical care, disaster relief and direct financial support to musicians who have made a living playing blues, jazz, and roots music. Adolph & Esther Gottlieb Emergency GrantIntended to provide interim financial assistance to qualified artists whose needs are the result of an unforeseen, catastrophic incident, and who lack the resources to meet their needs. To apply click here.
NYFA & Rauschenberg Foundation Emergency GrantsThe New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) has partnered with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation to provide Emergency Grants for visual artists, media artists and choreographers for emergency medical expenses beginning in May 2020. United Way COVID-19 Response FundThe United Way of Westchester and Putnam will be awarding grants to nonprofits that are directly helping underprivileged populations that have been displaced or actively impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Westchester County. To apply click here.

Assistance and Guidance for NYC Small BusinessesNew York will provide relief for businesses across the City seeing a reduction in revenue because of COVID-19 in the form of zero interest loans, information regarding grant retention and guidance on best practices.
