Renowned Singer-Songwriter Tom Chapin presents free concert at Downtown Music

White Plains: Wednesday, September 28, at 12:10.  Downtown Music at Grace will present a varied program of songs and music performed by Grammy-award winning musician Tom Chapin.

With 26 recordings and hundreds of songs in his repertoire, Tom Chapin serves up a seasoned mix for intergenerational audiences of all tastes: story songs, ballads, political and satirical songs, family music, sing-alongs, folk classics and one or two favorites by his late brother Harry. Tom accompanies himself on guitar, banjo and autoharp and is joined by longtime collaborator, Michael Mark, who plays concertina and bass.  This program is ‘curated’ by celebrated radio personality and music critic and Bob Sherman, host of the beloved “Woody’s Children” radio show.

Downtown Music at Grace has resumed its award-winning, weekly series of free, noontime concerts.  See our full calendar at www.DTMusic.org.
