Artist Statement

I am photographer specializing in black and white images and documentary photography. My unique attraction to black and white evokes the varying moods and qualities of the images perceived and captured. It is for this reason that balck and white photography is a sure winner. While we are fascinated by color, the prevailing essence and details of a black and white photograph will always convey messages of altering depths. I attended Philadelphia Community College, were I focused my attention on photographing children in an urban setting.  Graduated from Parson School of Design for graphic arts. Presently enrolled at the Westchester Art Workshop, White Plains branch, were I able to convey my love for photography. March, 2006 I entered an Annual Open Juried Show at New Rochelle Library were (Another Work Day)one of my photographs won second place. May 2-May 31 exhibit at Greenburgh Library, August 2 - August 30, Yonkers Public Library (River Front Branch), October, "We,  Them & They” exhibit at AB-BAW Gallery, S. Fourth Ave., Mt Vernon, NY.
