Artist Statement

My work will often feature its own intensity regardless if the subject matter is a still life, something abstract, or nonobjective. The goal I like to achieve within my work, is to disturb the boundary lines between emotion, reality, and atmosphere by using various techniques and mixed media. I think the most important detail within a majority of my pieces is that a lot of the works I provide appear as if there is a story already attached to them. However, it is one hundred percent up to the viewer what the story could be. I feel the ambiguity around the work really motivates the on looker to become mentally involved with the subject matter despite the recognizable features it may or may not provide.
