Artist Statement
Sarah Chalfy (AEA, AGMA) is a singing actor with off-Broadway, regional, opera, classical, cabaret, TV and film credits, working as a performer and as a private voice teacher here in Westchester. Sarah has a BM from Peabody Conservatory and an MM from Manhattan School of Music. A season of performing will often find her singing cabaret one week, jazz the next, and Monteverdi madrigals after that. Sarah takes a special interest in working with living composers and playwrights to premiere their new works. In addition to her independent private voice students, Sarah teach at the Mozartina Conservatory and the Hackley School.
