Educational Background: Eastchester Senior High School Eastchester New York 1979 - 1982 (Graduated) Mid-Westchester Center for Occupational Education Southern Westchester BOCES (Professional Floral Design / Horticulture ) 1979 - 1982 (Graduated) Artistic Experience: Designed various floral arrangements in a variety of vases, baskets, tea sups, wall planters, and bubble bowls. Designed presentation bouquets, wristlets, hair crowns, as well as wedding and funeral designs, etc.
Teaching Artist Experience:
The White Plains Adult Continuing Education White Plains, New York: 03/16/1998 thru 2002 Taught wedding, crafts, holiday design, hand made ribbon roses, dried and fresh flower design, etc. The Westchester Community College/Adult Continuing Education Valhalla, New York Taught wedding, crafts, holiday design, wreaths, hand made ribbon roses, gift baskets, variety of planters and dish gardens," etc… Additional Teaching Activities: 10/18/2001The Scarsdale Woman’s Club Two Floral Design Demonstrations: Taught as a group; then were auctioned to the highest bidder. 10/23/1999The Tuckahoe Senior Citizens for the Community Center. Taught and designed a topiary arrangement for them"," as well as donated it to their organization. Taught a few Christmas classes for them in their Community Center. 12/15/1998The Tuckahoe Public Library taught an adult floral class"," designing a wreath with trimmings and velvet ribbon to match. 12/10/1998The Tuckahoe Public Library Taught a children’s class", designing their own birdhouse with artificial Christmas greens, ribbons and trimmings.
