Artist Statement
My paintings explore the close connection I feel to images I encounter. Mostly, what moves me is the natural beauty of the landscape. Painting the rhythms of a seascape, the power and delicacy of mountains, life in a meadow, or the stunning formations of a desert allows me to observe and translate the transforming experience of the natural world.
