Artist Statement

I have been interested in photography since high school. At that time, I developed and printed my own black and white photographs. In college, I started to use color slide film. After college, many other activities precluded time for photography. In 1998, I decided to make more time for photography. I like to photograph on the street and landscapes.

Educational Background

A two week workshop with Joel Meyerowitz in Tuscany in 1998 was followed by some weekend workshops at the International Center for Photography (ICP) in Manhattan, attendance at the ICP Photographers Lectures series, and critiques at the Manhattan Miniature Camera Club and by a color slide study group of the Photographic Society of America. I am an Exhibiting Artist Member of the National Arts Club and an Artist Member of the Salmagundi Club.
