Artist Statement
I am an obsessive realist painter. Several hundred hours are required to complete each canvas. Techniques are all classical, involving under-painting and over-painting. I have been painting for 25 years, and am currently represented by The Walter Wickiser Gallery, in Soho, and the NoHo Gallery, in Chelsea. I also have some paintings in Miami, at the Coral Gables International Art Center. A first prize winner in American Artist Magazine's Golden Anniversary Competition., I aspire towards Vermeer, Van Eyck, Bouguereau. I think that 95% of the contemporary art you see in galleries and museums now-a-days is worthless.
