Lavinia Wiggins is an artist working in oils, mixed media and collage. A Westchester NY native, her studio is located in Peekskill NY at the Flat Iron Building. She is inspired by vintage items and flea market finds; including them in all her work. Lavinia's love of nature naturally leads her to landscapes, preferring scenes that include water. People often comment that her work is calm and peaceful. Her collage work is intuitive, using vintage images, poems, or a quip as a starting point.
