Artist Statement
Katherine Nix received her BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 1999. She has worked as a designer and background painter for film and television. She has had the pleasure of working with a diverse group of artists, including the independent animation pioneer Bill Plympton; and with the creative teams of Cartoon Network's "Venture Brothers" and Disney's "Little Einsteins". She lives in New York City with her husband, Vincent.
