Artist Statement
Color. We are continually surrounded by it. Sometimes overlooked and other marveled at, color offer us sanctuary and joy. Often, it alters our mood. Color gives us a sense of something spiritual and inexplicable while it enhances our lives. As I mix and apply pigments, I strive to recreate these sensations. By combining color, spontaneous brushstrokes, and structure, I aim to visually articulate the phenomenon of color and celebrate its effects on us.
Educational Background
Wenglowski studied Painting and drawing at Rochester Institute of Technology and graduated with a BFA, cum laude from Manhattanville College.
