Organization Overview
The Harrison Council for the Arts promotes the arts in Harrison by developing and supporting programs in the visual and performing arts, enriching the lives of Harrison residents, encouraging participation of local talent, and fostering artistic appreciation in the children and young people of the Harrison community.
The Council presents a variety of events throughout the year including Youth Art Month, which displays children\'s art and involves music, dance and drama as well as Juried Art Exhibitions, where 11 artists are chosen for one month displays in the Harrison Library. The Council supports the Harrison Players, the Town Opera, concerts and Shakespeare in the Park.
