Artist Statement
I am an Interdisciplinary artist & designer with over 14 years of professional experience. I hold BFA in Painting with a minor in Sculpture from SUNY New Paltz and Masters Degree from Pratt Institute in Industrial Design.
My participation in many different facets of the art and design world has refined my style and afforded me an exceptionally diverse point of view and skill set. The digital revolution has inspired and affected my work- the MAKER revolution had directly involved my career and allowed for once unimaginable products to appear as if by magic on my desktop. I enjoy working in a collaborative studio environment, in doing so; I believe I have polished my critical eye, observation and communication skills. I understand the fundamental importance of collaborating and communicating through art and design in addition to the importance of aesthetic, light, color and voice.
I am passionate and accomplished in my field. I have been lucky enough to have worked across disciplines, in a variety of fields including Architecture/Interior Design/Set Design and Model making. This variety has afforded me a diverse point of view and unique perspective.
