Artist Statement
For several years I’ve been making three dimensional wall sculpture and exploring the strength, flexibility, texture, color of cardboard and paper. Most recently, rather than fixed, permanent shapes, the new pieces are temporary configurations of folded and bent paper held together with string and clips. These appear on the wall as shapes and shadows; they are often reconfigured and rephotographed before they’re dismantled and fly away.
