Artist Statement

I'm Eadie Scott. Professional singer, actor, voice teacher, director, producer and managing artistic director of Manhattan Cabaret Arts, a full service community for all things Cabaret! After decades of success in Manhattan, we are expanding and bringing the joy of music and the personal storytelling connection of Cabaret to Westchester.

I teach private voice students. I teach/direct Cabaret Performance Workshops which culminate in a live performance for the students. I direct private solo cabaret shows and revues. I have been commissioned to write revues for performers and for venues.

I love music! I love sharing my joy of music and storytelling with my students and audiences.

I am available as a performer, a teacher, a director. My cabaret performance workshops are very popular in Manhattan and have received accolades and sold out houses for over a decade.

I am very excited to bring the art of Cabaret to Westchester. My original home.

Educational Background

Eadie graduated from Edgemont High School and studied privately then with an adjunct professor from Purchase. She was noted in The Who's Who music directory.

She received a BFA degree in musical theater from SUNY Fredonia and was the only senior to be asked by the chair of the voice department to teach voice for non majors. She also studied Opera at the prestigious Chautauqua Institute under the direction of the great Marlena Malas.

As a theater performer, Eadie has worked extensively at some of the most highly regarded regional theaters in the Country. As a cabaret performer she has performed at most of the premium rooms in New York including The Town Hall and has received awards and accolades over the years.

She has produced and directed over 100 cabaret workshops, solo shows, group shows, revues and theme shows.

Currently she is the managing artistic director of Manhattan Cabaret Arts, a full service cabaret community for all things cabaret.
