Artist Statement
Dream like images juxtapose with conscious experiences and produce a form of Pop Expressionism. My themes are real and inspired by popular culture and political art, but at the same time they are expressions of spiritual yearning and an overactive imagination. The result returns mystique, mystery and lore to art. My work aims to tell a story of alternative meanings with both positive and negative intentions. I see the imagery in my art to be nostalgic and innocent, but also boldly progressive.
