Artist Statement
Amanda Arbeter is an abstract artist based in Westchester, New York. She is a mom to two young children. Her background as an Art History Major at The University of Michigan inspired her creativity and passion for the arts. Her career as an artist came about organically from a series of large scale pieces she painted as a student. Amanda uses acrylic paint on canvas to create energetic brushstrokes and dramatic color stories in each original work. Wander, Dream, Imagine, Escape into her works as the blending brushstrokes and emerging colors whisk you away to a place where thoughts run free. Her pieces are intended to evoke emotion and draw in the viewer. Her large scale bespoke artwork can be seen throughout many homes in Westchester, Manhattan and Connecticut. Amanda specializes in custom work.
