Artist Statement
Fine art photographer Anita Louise Reilly is best known for her floral images. Anita has exhibited in juried shows at the Katonah Museum of Art, Putnam Arts Council, Paramount Center for the Arts, Northern Westchester Center for the Arts and the Westchester Arts Council. Anita's photographs have appeared in Best of Photography, Petersen's Photographic, the WHUD calendars, and on CD music covers. Her photographs also hang in private and corporate collections throughout New York, Colorado and Florida. Through the use of natural light and simple composition, Anita creates what she calls her "Floral Portraits." Her images reveal the simple, yet intricate, details, colors, and textures of flowers. She hopes that through her images, everyone can see the full beauty of the splendid flower.
