NEW RECOVERY GRANTS HELP ARTISTS REENGAGE WITH THE PUBLIC
New recovery grants help artists reengage with the public
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (August 31, 2021) – ArtsWestchester announced a new grant on Monday that will help artists and arts groups reconnect with their audiences.
The Arts Alive Recovery NY Regrant is a new, onetime opportunity designed to promote live performances and in-person arts programming. Grants ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 are available for projects scheduled between Sept. 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022.
“For more than a year, artists were unable to perform in public in front of live audiences. These grants will help artists and arts groups recover from pandemic closures by promoting live, in-person events,” said ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Langsam.
Performing arts are a priority, but other events with a public component are eligible for consideration. New, first-time applicants are encouraged to apply.
