Music Conservatory of Westchester Launches Drummer’s Dream Raffle!

It’s March Madness for musicians! Ever dreamed of being a drummer in a band? That dream can be a reality. The Music Conservatory of Westchester is raffling off a like-new 5-piece Pearl Vision drum set complete with hardware and Paiste cymbals as well as a free trial lesson online or in-person with Conservatory drum instructor Jake Robinson! The drum set is generously donated by Betty and Mitchell Troyetsky.

This raffle is open to kids, teens, and adults interested in learning to play the drums. Kick off your Drummer’s Dream by purchasing $10 raffle tickets herehttps://securepayment.link/musiced/purchase-raffle-tickets/

All raffle proceeds support the nonprofit music school’s Scholarship Program for financially deserving students in our community to achieve their musical dreams. The raffle is open starting March 1 and closes on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11:59pm. The winner will be notified via email on Monday, April 5, 2021. The raffle winner must pick up the drum set at the Conservatory.

“Playing drums is challenging and great fun, and Jake is a fabulous teacher,” Executive Director Jean Newton said. “At the same time, each raffle purchase will help make sure the Conservatory has the resources to provide scholarship assistance for each student who needs it.”

The Music Conservatory has been offering online private lessons since March 2020. Safe in-person lessons at the school’s 30,000 sq. ft. building in White Plains resumed in September 2020. Lessons at the Conservatory span all ages, instruments, skill levels, and musical genres from classical and jazz to rock and pop.

“My son takes his drum lessons with Mr. Robinson and enjoys it. Mr. Robinson is extremely nice and very patient. He has an excellent background in music and knows how to teach it well. He believes every student can reach his/her full potential.” – Conservatory parent
