Hudson Valley Singers Present Dvořák, Schubert & Pärt

The Hudson Valley Singers with conductor Eugene Sirotkine perform two choral masterpieces contrasted by a beloved chamber music piece in a concert that transcends time on Sunday, May 7 at 3:00pm at the O’Byrne Chapel at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.

The program begins with Arvo Pärt’s ethereal Salve Regina of 2001, segues to Franz Schubert’s delightful “Trout Quintet” of 1819 for piano, violin, viola, cello and double bass, and culminates in the hauntingly beautiful Mass in D major of Antonín Dvořák from 1887.

Featured soloists include: Callie Sorrento, soprano; Nicole Salamon, mezzo soprano; Heejae Kim, tenor; and Hyong Jo, bass. A stellar lineup of instrumentalists includes: Elissa Cassini, violin; David Cerutti, viola; Mikhail Istomin, cello; John Feeney, bass; and music director Eugene Sirotkine, piano.

Tickets $35 ($40 at the door). Visit hudsonvalleysingers.org or email info@hudsonvalleysingers.org.
