The Westchester Choral Society will present Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria and Holiday Favorites:
Christmas Day: Choral Fantasy on old Carols by gustav Holst, Ed. Douglas J. Walczak
Hanerot Halalu: A Song for Hanukah by Baruch J. Cohon,Arranged by Blanche Chass
O Magnum Mysterium: by Morten Lauridsen
The concert will be performed with organ and will be accompanied by The Queens Consort, a Baroque Ensemble. It will be conducted by David Baranowski. The performance will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 3:00 p.m. at Rye Presbyterian Church in Rye, New York. It promises to be a musical and festive afternoon, and one that you won’t want to miss.
Since its inaugural season in 1942, the Westchester Choral Society is the longest continuously performing chorus in Westchester County. Its mission is to enrich the cultural life of Westchester and beyond by bringing beautiful and inspiring music to its audiences.
