Writing and Publishing for Children: From Picture Books to Young Adult

A weekly workshop for writers with a work-in-progress or for those just starting out. This class will provide feedback to revise and develop your manuscript. Both new and experienced writers with projects or ideas from any genre, from picture books to young adult novels to non-fiction, are welcome. Though the primary focus will be on writing, the class will also provide an overview of industry standards for different genres and age groups, and will conclude with specific direction on how to navigate the proposal and submission process.

6 Mondays, 1:30–3:30 p.m., 9/22/2014–11/03/2014
