Women: This much and More! Presented by Marcy B Freedman

A live, multi-media performance event blending visual art with poetry, music, and dance. During the pandemic, Marcy B Freedman developed a digital collage series in which a woman from the past is transformed into a contemporary version of herself.  Freedman then invited artists from other disciplines to create their own interpretations of these artworks.  For this event, poets, dancers, and musicians bring their passions to the stage, while Marcy’s projected portraits serve as a reference point for each presentation.

Bio: Marcy B. Freedman is an artist and an art historian based in the New York metropolitan area. As a visual artist, Marcy has explored a variety of mediums – from painting and sculpture to photography, video, and performance art. Her works have been shown in more than 400 exhibitions around the country, and she has presented solo performances in a wide range of public and private venues.
