Unpacking the Goldbergs with Anthony Newman

Join acclaimed keyboardist, Bach scholar and friend of the Sanctuary Series, Anthony Newman, virtually, for an intimate afternoon event entitled Unpacking the Goldbergs and featuring a discussion of Johann Sebastian Bach’s iconic work, the Goldberg Variations with illustrative playthroughs by Mr. Newman on the piano, Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 4 PM.

Described by Wynton Marsalis as “The High Priest of Bach”, and by Time Magazine as “The High Priest of the Harpsichord,” Newman is considered one of America’s leading Bach interpreters.
