The Symphony of Westchester 22nd Season Opening Concert


Cellist Inbal Segev will open the Symphony of Westchester’s 22nd concert season at Iona College on Sat., Nov. 10, 2018, performing Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto op. 85, in E Minor.

           The 8:00 p.m. program also includes Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony no. 9, op. 95 in E minor (from the New World).

Segev has performed as a soloist with orchestras internationally, making debuts with the Berlin and Israel Philharmonics, led by Zubin Mehta. She has recorded both as a soloist and with the Amerigo Trio, of which she is a founding member.

The Symphony’s concert season will continue with performances on Dec. 16 and on Feb. 3 and April 27, 2019.

All concerts are at Iona’s Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium, 715 North Ave., New Rochelle. Ticket prices are $50 general admission, $35 seniors (65+) and $15 students with ID.
