The Mother of All (Mother-Memoir) Writing Workshop

We all have stories to tell and feelings to explore about our relationships with our mothers. Listen to others’ stories and write your own in this day-long workshop led by Vicki Addesso, Susan Hodara, Joan Potter, and Lori Toppel, co-authors of the collaborative memoir Still Here Thinking of You: A Second Chance With Our Mothers (Big Table Publishing, 2013). After presenting short readings from their book, the women will lead participants in writing their own short memoirs about their mothers, which they will then share with the group.
