The Ground Glass Road Show “The Written Word – Part I” @ Katonah – An Outdoor Photography Exhibit

The Ground Glass Road Show
“The Written Word – Part I @ Katonah”
An Outdoor Photography Exhibit
On Katonah Ave, Katonah, NY

The Written Word – Part I,  an outdoor photography exhibit, will be displayed in Katonah, NY at Katonah Avenue’s Railroad Crossing fence.   The exhibit begins May 20 and runs thru June 22.  The exhibit will be included in the Katonah Art Walk on May 21 from 4 p.m to 8 p.m.

The second half of this two part exhibit, “The Written Word – Part II” will be displayed in Katonah after the close of Part I.   Part II”  will also be on display at The Rye Arts Center in late May thru mid-June.

The exhibits are free and open to the public.

The “Written Word” represents the work of more than 20 photographers. The “Road Show” exhibits came about when members of the Ground Glass could not exhibit in their gallery due to Pandemic closure. The solution… exhibit Outdoors !    Large photographic prints (36” x 48” and some even larger) on weatherproof material are displayed at venues where fences and sidewalk railings are available… A significant departure from typical gallery shows where photographic images are generally displayed in smaller sizes.

The photographs in the exhibit are available for sale in large or small sizes

Given the enthusiastic response to its Road Show series, the Ground Glass is offering to make shows available to towns, venues or organizations interested in hosting future Road Shows.

While “The Written Word” is best seen in person, a preview of the Road Show photographs may be viewed on the association’s website, www.thegroundglass.org.
