The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze

The tri-state area’s biggest, most exciting, most electrifying Halloween event returns in 2016 with more pumpkins and more visual delights than ever!

See more than 7,000 individually hand-carved, illuminated jack o’ lanterns in this elaborate walkthrough experience. Meander through an historic, 18th-century riverside landscape and discover a breathtaking display — all made of jack o’ lanterns!

Stroll across the new Pumpkin Zee Bridge and gaze in wonder at the aquatic creatures swimming below. Gasp at the sight of giant a Sea Serpent surfacing next to the Croton River and stand mesmerized by a color-changing star show in the expanded Pumpkin Planetarium.

Feel the earth shake as you approach Jurassic Park where a herd of pint-size dinos mingles with an enormous T-Rex, brontosaurus, triceratops, and pterodactyl. Squeal with excitement as the Circus Train rolls into town featuring a cast of colorful clowns and awesome animals. Witness the incredible sight of gourd-filled Jack-in-the-Boxes springing up and bouncing around, and don’t miss Sleepy Hollow Country’s most iconic inhabitant, the Headless Horseman!

See slithering snakes, a giant spider web, and go gaga over shrunken Little Monsters. Gaze in amazement at a working doomsday grandfather clock. Comical, squash-eating Venus pumpkin traps sprout in the garden. Enjoy live pumpkin carving demonstrations in the Visitor Tent, and strike a pose with comical pumpkin cut-outs.

Tens of thousands of visitors experienced last year’s Blaze®, which was

SOLD OUT every night! Complete with sound effects, elaborate synchronized lighting and an all-original soundtrack by recording artist Richard Christy, this not-to-be-missed spectacle is the area’s most innovative Halloween happening.

Admission is by timed ticket. Times vary by evening. Advance reservations are a must!

2016 dates: Sept. 30, Oct. 1-2, 7-10, 13-16, 19-31, Nov. 3-6, 10-13.
