The Art of Voting: Exploring Women’s Suffrage Across Media

Raise your brush, raise your voice, and get ready to cast your ballot! Join us for an inspiring salon with four artists as they share and discuss new creative works that honor the centennial of women’s suffrage and pay homage to voting and civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer. Featuring jazz vocalist Antoinette Montague, singer-songwriter Francesca Savoy Lamantia, and visual artists Carla Rae Johnson and Laurel Garcia Colvin.
