WESTCHESTER PRIDE WORKSHOP | THE ART OF RUNWAY WALKING WITH TWIGGY PUCCI GARCON

Pose. Turn. Strut. Stance. Attitude. Join us for a workshop in the art of runway walking, led by FX Pose choreographer, LGBTQ youth rights advocate and runway artist Twiggy Pucci Garçon, along with ballroom artists Milan Garçon (EddieJarelJonesx) and Mermaid Garçon. Dr. Tavia Nyong’o, Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies at Yale University, will join the House of Comme des Garçons for a pre-workshop conversation about the history of runway in the NY ball scene. This program is co-sponsored by The LOFT LGBT Center and is being held in conjunction with Westchester Pride.

Participants in the workshop will have the opportunity to demonstrate their newfound runway skills on the outdoor Pride Festival stage (@4PM) alongside the Legendary House of Comme des Garçons.

All are welcome to participate in this FREE workshop. Reservations not required but encouraged!
