The Antonin String Quartet with Glenn Dicterow, first violin

The Westchester Chamber Music Society is thrilled to present this amazing quartet in an event not to be missed. Glenn Dicterow  concertmaster for 34 years for the New York Philharmonic who recently bid his farewell to that orchestra brings the Antonin String Quartet once again to our chamber music series on March 16, 2014.

The Antonin plans to perform Beethoven’s String Quartet in F Major, Op. 18, No 1, Hugo Wolf’s Italian Serenade and Brahms’ String Quartet in C Minor, Op. 51, No. 1. Congregation Emanu-El is unique for its intimacy and provides a truly genuine venue in which one experiences chamber music as it had originally been intended.

The program is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm, inquiries can be made to (914) 967-9399, tickets can be purchased at the door, seating is open and students are encouraged to attend free of charge. As with all events presented by the Westchester Chamber Music Society, a wine and cheese reception will follow the concert where all patrons are welcome to meet and mingle with the artists.
