St. Lawrence String Quartet to Perform in Sleepy Hollow


The St. Lawrence String Quartet, one of the most renowned chamber groups of its generation and Canada’s premier string quartet, will close this 60th season of Friends of Music Concerts on Saturday, May 10, 2014, with a program of Haydn, Bartok and Beethoven.  The concert will mark the Westchester debut of the group’s new second violinist, Mark Fewer, whose eclectic resume includes work as a jazz violinist and session player in Montreal.  Ensemble-in-residence at Stanford University, SLSQ continues to build its reputation for imaginative and spontaneous music-making.

Tickets to this event are $30 each for adults.  Persons under 18 years of age will be admitted free of charge.  Parking is free.
