Speak up for the Arts | Doles Recreation Center

Westchester County funds enable ArtsWestchester to support arts and cultural activity throughout the county through  competitive grant programs, provide county residents and visitors with information about cultural activities available in Westchester; and to provide arts education opportunities throughout the county.

Plans and preparations are underway for the 2020 County Budget.  In advance of releasing the budget in November the County Executive has scheduled two public meetings in October. Three additional sessions with the County Board of Legislators will be held in November and December, after the budget is released.

Please attend one of the  public hearings. Numbers count. We need hundreds of people to join us at the hearings or we simply won’t be effective.

Although the sessions start at 7:00 p.m., it’s important for arts advocates to come early, so we can sit together.
