Sleepy Hollow First Annual Literary Festival


Warner Library Schedule of Events
10 am/ Music by Pablo Mayor with ArtsLatinoNY Ensemble, accompanied by Librarian Barbara Cohen in a music and story presentation of Grandma’s Records by Eric Velasquez. Open to all.
1 pm/ Author Mira T. Lee will read from her novel Everything Here is Beautiful.  2 pm/ Alan Sklar, will read stories by Jorge Borges including Street Corner Man and Rosendo’s Tale among others.  3 pm/ Storyteller Flor Bromley will present a retelling of the book My Name is Celia Cruz by Monica Brown.

The Sleepy Hollow Lit Fest kicks off the 18-month long Bicentennial Celebration of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  Authors, musicians, and artisans from far and near will be at various locations within the villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow to celebrate the 200th anniversary of this iconic work. Visit www.sleepyhollowlitfest.org for a complete list of events.
Warner Library will host over 50 authors in tents on the front lawn for book signings and meet and greets. In addition, Warner is proud to present Viva Historia: A Celebration of stories from Latin America.
