Red Flags: An Anatomy of an Abusive Relationship

A SPECIAL EVENT
Sunday May 15, 2016 @ 3:00 PM
One performance only!
Written and performed by
SUSAN GORDON-CLARK
Directed by Veronica Caicedo (Founder of Caicedo Productions, a parent company of The ONE Festival and the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival.)
RED FLAGS is the story of one woman’s journey from a dream of a perfect love to the horror of physical and psychological abuse, and how she survived it all.
Recognizing that you are in an abusive situation is the first step to breaking free. Many victims give up and return to their abusers again and again, continuing the cycle of violence. RED FLAGS shows you the warning signs that can make a difference between years of abuse and a lifetime of freedom.
A special Q & A with Hope’s Door and My Sister’s Place and a reception will be held after the performance. Guests can enjoy refreshments in the gallery, and a meet-and-greet with the playwright/performer Susan Gordon-Clark.
Proceeds from this event will help support the efforts of Hope’s Door and My Sisters’ Place.
