Ralph Lalama and Bop Juice

On Friday, May 16^th Roscoe’s Room welcomes Ralph Lalama and Bop Juice. A solid fixture of the New York jazz scene and respected world-wide, Westchester resident Ralph Lalama embodies the best of the jazz sound ideal – great time and swing, expressed melodically. Over his impressive career  — starting with Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, and the Mel Lewis Orchestra (now the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra) — Lalama has honed the craft of sonic blending. Playing with Ralph Lalama will be Joel Forbes on bass and Clifford Barbaro on drums. Two seatings, 7:30 and 9:30 PM; tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door,  $10 for students with valid ID.
