Puccini and Duruflé Masterworks in One Concert, Coton-on-Hudson, March 19 & 20

Currently in its 24th season and past recipient of the Arts Westchester Arts Organization of the Year Award, Taconic Opera invites you to its annual concert program featuring two choral/orchestral masterworks: Puccini’s famous and beloved Messa di Gloria and Duruflé’s gorgeous, ethereal Requiem.  Conducted by the company’s Artistic Director, Dan Montez, performances will include professional lead singers and the Taconic Opera Orchestra and Chorus.  Come hear these oratorios the way they were meant to be performed.

Two weekend matinee concerts will be performed in central Westchester: Sat., March 19, and Sun., March 20, at 3 pm at the Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson. Two performances assures that audience members can select seating that suits their individual preferences.  This beautiful venue is handicap accessible and ideally suited for live sacred music of this caliber due to its acoustical and architectural properties.

COVID protocols: all performers are fully vaccinated; audience members must show proof of vaccination or recent negative test and be masked inside the venue.
