Poetry as Overwinter : Wakefulness in a Time of Stillness & Big Sleeps with Rosebud Ben-Oni via Zoom

In this workshop, we will explore what it means to roam and carry one’s self through various landscapes as other life hibernates and briefly exits the winter season of stillness and big sleeps. What does it mean to live in a realm emptied and yet not devoid of life? How can this be a period of joy and discovery? We will reimagine the many awakenings possible in poetry, drawing inspiration from Keith S. Wilson, Camille T. Dungy, Chase Berggrun, Julia Salem, and more.

NB: This workshop will be held on Zoom. It will be capped at 15 students. Zoom link will be sent via email (please check junk/spam) at the time of registration. Registration is $124 at https://www.writerscenter.org/calendar/rosebud/

Please note: The Altman Person of Color Scholarships are free and given on a first come, first served basis. PLEASE register for ONLY ONE scholarship PER MONTH. Please notify us right away if your plans change and you cannot attend the class. We will then reopen the slot so another student may register. Thank you in advance for this consideration.
