Presenting an Image for Competition.

CCCW presents our own Robert Plotkin who will discuss how to present an image for competition.  When you choose one of your best images to compete in a photographic competition there are certain advantages you can accomplish to have that image stand out from the rest of the competing images. This ZOOM program will provide the viewer with an insight to what makes an image stand out to get the cherished blue ribbon.

Bob Plotkin says:  Shooting, selecting and editing photos for competitions can be frustrating when you see how your’s and other’s images are judged. Regardless of your experience shooting, you may find that while you have had personal successes with images including acceptances in juried gallery shows, your competition results are not satisfying.
Bob’s background: Mainly a fine art, portrait, street and music event photographer
– Always experimenting with new ideas and styles
– Began shooting and processing film in 70s, transitioned to digital in mid 90’s
– Photos published in newspapers, books and magazines
– Awards in numerous competitions and accepted in juried gallery shows
