Noonday Getaway Concert – The Klezmer Tradition!

Best known to Downtown Music audiences for his stellar recitals of the classical repertoire, clarinetist Pavel Vinnitsky has appeared at some of the world’s major klezmer music festivals and toured Israel and Europe with a klezmer trio.  Vinnitsky appears regularly with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the American Symphony and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s.  A founding member of the Jewish Arts Ensemble of New York, he is joined at the piano by his wife, Anna Vinnitsky, who has appeared at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Orchestra Hall in Chicago and Merkin Hall in New York.
