Music on the Move Pop Up Concert

NRCA is taking its act on the road next Saturday, June 18th with pop-up concerts planned at three local shopping centers. The Jacob Harelick Groove, a compact group with a full bodied sound, will perform; the group features some of the most talented young musicians from Manhattanville College, SUNY Purchase and the Berklee School of Music. Look for them at:

11 to 11:45 am Golden Horseshoe Shopping Center (1086 Wilmot Rd. at Weaver St.)

12:30 to 1:15 pm: Quaker Ridge Shopping Center (31 Quaker Ridge Rd. near North Ave.)

2 to 2:45 pm: Shop Rite (8 Joyce Road, at Palmer Ave.)

Making the day possible are a grant from NR Future, plus the loan of a truck from Sammarco Stone. “There’s been a lot of excitement about this idea from the start,” says Theresa Kump Leghorn, President of NRCA, “and we really appreciate the support from NR Future, Frank Miceli at Sammarco, Millie Radjonic, and the shopping center owners.”
