Meet the Artist, Kimberly Patino at the Harrison Public Library

Kimberly Patino  is an American photographer and visual artist. She will be meeting members of the community at a gathering at the Harrison Public Library to share the creative process and inspiration of photographs for “Divine Intervention” on view through January 5, 2018.

She began her career as a photo assistant for portrait photography company, Glamour Shots.  Working in a fast-paced studio, Kimberly began to hone her skills in photography and uncovered her true passion: visual storytelling.  With a focus on portraiture and photojournalism, her work focuses on identity, body image and the relationship between immigration and Americanism.

Kimberly received her BA in 2014 from Hunter College. Her work has been exhibited in group shows to include: the 440 Gallery, the Bowery House and the Art Crasher traveling gallery. Kimberly’s work has also been featured in various publications and web articles such as Fashion Grunge and Adobe Student.

The exhibit may be viewed:
Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30am to 9:00pm
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 9:30am to 5:30pm
Sundays 1:00 to 5:00pm
