Gallery Exhibit: Censored and Poetic

On view: March 3 – April 2
Reception & Artist Talk: Thursday, March 10, 5:30 – 8:00 pm
Curated by Kicki Storm

This exhibit is in celebration of women in art, featuring the work of noted painter, Carol Douglas, and celebrated sculptor, Anne de Villeméjane.

Carol’s paintings find the beauty in the bodies of women even though they have suffered. Her work prompts the viewer to explore further the issues of women.

Anne’s work explores femininity; she creates delicate, elongated, quiet women. Her works go beyond portraiture to reach the essence of womanhood.
