LMC Media Annual Gala honoring Jeff Meighan

LMC Media will be hosting its annual Gala to raise the funds needed to support our work in the community.  This Gala will be a combination of a virtual LMC original film premiere with a small private reception for sponsors.

DATE:  Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 7:30 in the evening

LOCATION:  Mamaroneck Cinemas and via Live Stream through LMC Media

THEME:  Hollywood on the Sound – Celebrating our community’s connection to filmmaking.

FORMAT:  LMC Media is proud to announce an in-person premiere as part of this year’s Annual Gala honoring Jeff Meighan.  LMC is partnering with the newly re-opened historic Mamaroneck Cinemas to host a screening of our new film which chronicles the history of filmmaking in the Sound Shore area.  Viewers will hear from notable figures in film who got their start in Larchmont and Mamaroneck.

HONOREE (full bio available from LMC Media) Jefferson Meighan, Esq. Jeff Meighan is a lifelong resident of Westchester County living most of his life in the Sound Shore area.  Following in the family tradition, he became an attorney and works in the law practice founded by his family in 1897.   Jeff’s philanthropic work, his Board service, and his volunteer roles exemplify commitment to community.  He was inspired to give of his time and talents due to a strong family tradition of service.  Starting with his grandfather in the early 1900’s, every generation of Meighan has been involved in local philanthropic and civic endeavors.  One of Jeff’s most notable accomplishments is that he was a co-founder of the Washingtonville Housing Alliance and held Board leadership roles in the local Rotary, Bar Association, and Mamaroneck Public Library. Jeff has been on the Board of LMC Media for 8 years and has served as president since 2015.
