kick off to LGBT PRIDE concert

The New Westchester Symphony Orchestra and The LOFT LGBT Community Center Partner to Kick Off LGBT Pride Month in the Most Exquisite Way. An event celebrating the magnificent contributions of LGBT composers throughout musical history.

The LOFT welcomes the community to join and enjoy music by virtuoso composers, performed by some of Westchester County’s most talented and passionate musicians. Admission to the event is free, but donations are encouraged. All contributions will be used to support the NewWSO and The LOFT, both of which are nonprofit organizations.

The celebration will feature a number of renowned composers who were either out, or closeted during their lifetimes, but nevertheless, contributed greatly to the arts as members of the LGBT community. From TCHAIKOVSKY to one time Westchester residents AARON COPLAND (Cortlandt Manor) and SAMUEL BARBER (Mount Kisco) it will be an experience not to be missed.
