Jhoely Garay Jazz Trio

Join us for a Mexican jazz concert in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with Jhoely Garay and friends. Active on the jazz scene in New York and Mexico, Jhoely performs as a band leader and side-woman in renown venues such as Carnegie Hall, The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, The Clemente Cultural Center, Stanford University, and the National Center for Performing Arts in Mexico, among others. Jhoely is a Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation Ambassador, a New Music USA and American Composers Forum grantee, and a Stanford Jazz Mentor Fellow, among others.  She graduated with a Bachelor degree in jazz guitar performance at The City College of New York and a Master’s in composition at the Manhattan School of Music.  The concert is co-sponsored by Young Musicians of Westchester.
